Pickle day today! First harvest of the season, still wet with morning dew. Soon to be dill, garlic, and sweet-hot refrigerator pickles!!!  I don’t have the balls for real deal canning yet.  I’m petrified of giving ya’ll botulism or something.  Give me a shout if you live locally and would like some.

Spent a little time with my sister and Zoey today.   She’s so precious.   Everyone is getting to know her. I love how downy soft the skin of a new baby feels, and that smell…oh, that smell.   And just in case you’re wondering… nope, still don’t want one.

Little Zoey, my newest niece, was born last night!  7lbs 6oz, 20 1/2 inches long.  Both mama and baby are resting nicely.  Photos to come today when I get over there (carly took this shot with her cell).
